That changes today with Baselight AI, your data analyst copilot. Baselight AI lets you perform deep analysis leveraging Baselight datasets (and your own uploaded datasets!), audit reasoning, and verify the sources and data points used to reach conclusions. In short, a single interface to answer all your questions in a data-grounded way. No more dedicated data infrastructure nor technical skills. No more trudging through arcane languages. No more finding the needle in the data haystack. Just a browser window and natural language.

We quietly made Baselight AI available in alpha two weeks ago, and it already accounts for 60% of all queries run on the platform. Going forward, we’re making it the default interface for Baselight. But Baselight AI is integrated with every other feature on the platform, and you can easily transfer the queries and visualizations it generates to the Baselight Studio for further editing and dashboard creation.
